CCF’s New Mobile-Friendly Website Offers State Health Policy Center + More

Welcome to CCF’s new website. You may have noticed a few obvious changes such as the mobile-friendly design and more visuals but there’s a lot more than meets the eye. When we conducted user testing on our web site a while back, one of the top items our partners asked for was a more in depth and user-friendly way to research state health policy decisions and their impact on health coverage for children and families. We responded by creating a state health policy center where you can take a deeper dive into health policy options as well as uninsured rates and compare your state’s progress to other states. (During development, we referred to this as “Tricia’s brain” section, however, there is certainly no way that all of Tricia Brooks’ knowledge could fit onto one website.) We hope you’ll find this new feature helpful.

As those of you familiar with our website know, we post a lot of content. The new website offers an enhanced search option that will come in handy for those moments when you just know CCF has the answer to your question about “ex-parte renewals” or “presumptive eligibility” but don’t know where to look. You’ll be able to better search CCF’s wide array of resources by using our multi-faceted search and drilling down by author, date, resource type and/or topic. No search function is perfect, but we hope you’ll find that our new search feature will make it easier for you to find the information you need.

CCF’s new navigation system will also make it easier for you to find our latest research, such as our new series on the Future of Children’s Coverage or the Medicaid/CHIP Managed Care rules. The navigation bar will also bring you directly to our Say Ahhh! blog where you’ll continue to find our commentary on the latest developments in health policy and guest features from our partners.

As always, we welcome your feedback so please let me know what you think.
