Oklahoma Musicians: Stand (Let Your Voice Be Heard) on Expanding Medicaid (Video)

Last week, a group of talented musicians in Oklahoma released a powerful recording about the need to fill the massive gap in health care coverage in their state.  (Hat tip: OK Policy Institute.) Noting that over 650,000 state residents – including many professional musicians – do not have health coverage despite working at one or more jobs, the performers are pushing for OK to accept the federal dollars available to extend health coverage to low-income Oklahomans under the Affordable Care Act.   Check out the video of their performance below.  The song is available on iTunes and all proceeds from the song go to address health care and other critical needs faced by musicians and artists in the state of Oklahoma.  And finally, visit the Red Dirt Relief Fund to learn more about the musician effort for better health care not only for fellow performers but all OK citizens.
