is Senior Health Policy Analyst for the Center for Children and Families (CCF). In this capacity, he supports the efforts of state level advocates to improve health care coverage policies for children and families. He also conducts research on Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), health insurance marketplaces created by the Affordable Care Act, and related topics.
Touschner previously served as Assistant Director for State Government Affairs for the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He provided strategic and technical assistance to state chapters in their legislative and regulatory advocacy. Touschner also served on the staff of members of the Ohio General Assembly from 2001-2003. He earned a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey Institute of the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Kenyon College.
