Lisa Dubay

Research and Policy Advisor

Lisa Dubay is research and policy advisor for the Center for Children and Families. She has more than twenty years of public health experience, and is currently a principal research associate at the Urban Institute, where her areas of expertise include health and health care coverage issues, specifically the SCHIP, Medicaid, and other forms of public and private insurance. Her work has included estimating the impact of national and state healthcare reform initiatives and expansions in Medicaid and SCHIP on health insurance coverage of the population.

Ms. Dubay has an extensive publication record which includes: Health Care Access and Use Among Low Income Children: Who Fares Best?, Covering the Uninsured: Can States Take the Lead, Addressing Health Insurance Coverage Gaps for Parents, and Gains in Children's Health Insurance Coverage but Additional Progress Needed. She is a doctoral candidate at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and holds a Master of Science in health policy from Harvard School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Tufts University.
