
Martha Heberlein
Research Analyst
Martha Heberlein is research analyst at the Center for Children and Families (CCF). Her work focuses primarily on conducting research and writing for CCF’s state resource center, which provides state advocates information and assistance in developing and implementing child and family health coverage initiatives.
Prior to joining CCF, Martha ran a residential program for women with mental illness and developmental disabilities, where she oversaw their treatment, advocated for clients during appointments, and coordinated services with family members, day programs, and other supports. She also served as a volunteer for City Year Boston, an Americorps program, from 2001-2002. Martha received a Master of Arts in public policy with a concentration in philosophy and social policy from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in psychology and criminal justice from James Madison University.
