The Georgetown University Center for Children and Families (CCF) is an independent, nonpartisan policy and research center whose mission is to expand and improve health coverage for America’s children and families.As part of the University’s Health Policy Institute, Georgetown CCF provides research, develops strategies, and offers solutions to improve the health of America’s children and families, particularly those with low and moderate incomes. In particular, CCF examines policy development and implementation related to Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), employer-based coverage, and public-private health coverage initiatives. CCF also helps states develop effective policies for improving coverage for children and families and analyzes and monitors how federal and state policy decisions affect the health care coverage of America’s families.
