Notes: Adults are defined as 19 – 64 years old. Adults with two or more types of coverage are not included in the map.

Source: Georgetown University Center for Children and Families analysis of the five-year estimates of summary data from the 2017 American Community Survey (ACS) using table B27010. The U.S. Census Bureau publishes ACS summary data on American Fact Finder. Percent estimates were computed and rounded to the nearest whole percent. Quartiles were calculated to contain equal numbers of congressional districts.
