Hispanic Kids Less Likely to be Insured

According to a recent study released by the Georgetown University Health Policy Institute’s Center for Children and Families, Hispanic children in Florida are more likely to lack health insurance than Hispanic children in other states. Findings from the study show that 2 out of every 3 children are indeed eligible for coverage through the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) but are not enrolled.
