Report Finds 97% WV Children Insured

A new report, released by Georgetown University Health Policy Institute’s Center for Children and Families, finds that 97% of children in the Mountain State are insured.
Those included in the 97% are covered by private insurance, Medicaid, or the West Virginia Children’s Health Insurance Program (WV CHIP). This statistic comes as a major accomplishment, with the state reducing the number of uninsured kids by over 40%.
