As a father and grandfather, U.S. Rep. Tom O’Halleran, R-Sedona, said it breaks his heart to see children not receiving the care they need. Because of that, he has partnered with health care providers in the state to call upon Congress to continue funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, or CHIP. O’Halleran spoke at a press conference Wednesday at Sun Life Maricopa Family Health Center to discuss the importance of the program.
