The Georgetown University’s Center for Children and Families, in partnership with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and the National Immigration Law Center Presented in a Series of Assister Webinars Focusing on Coverage Eligibility and Application Process for Families that Include Immigrants sponsored by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

• Webinar 1: September 19 at 2 to 3:30 EST – Immigrant eligibility for health coverage programs.  This webinar discussed immigrant eligibility rules for Medicaid/ CHIP and the marketplace, and also include a walk through of eligibility under different immigrant family scenarios.

•  Webinar 2: September 26 at 2 to 3:30 EST – Addressing unique concerns about applying for health coverage and overcoming barriers to enrollment for families that include immigrants.  This webinar will cover issues important to families that include immigrants such as: immigration enforcement, public charge, and language access. It will also provide tips on navigating some common barriers in the application process for families that include immigrants.  (slides coming soon)
