Mental To Dental: SB-75 Provides All California Youth With Access To Full-Scope Health Coverage

Thanks to the California Senate Bill 75, Medi-Cal expanded their children insurance coverage, increasing its children insurance rate to 97%, regardless of their immigration status. According to the recent report by Georgetown University’s Center for Children and Families, there’s still 3% of uninsured children, mostly due to California’s size.

A recent report from the Georgetown Center for Children and Families noted some of the highest child health care enrollment rates ever recorded in America.

More than 95 percent of kids nationwide are on some sort of health plan while nearly 97 percent of kids in California are protected by some form of health care coverage.
