Candace Webb Joins Center for Children and Families Team

candaceWe are pleased to announce that Candace Webb has joined the staff at Georgetown University’s Center for Children and Families as a senior state health policy analyst. Candace comes to Georgetown University with a decade of experience in public health, most recently as the Western Services Branch Chief in the Division of State HIV/AIDS Programs at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Before holding various positions at HRSA, Candace also worked as the Outreach Manager for Health and Reproductive Rights at the National Women’s Law Center.

Candace holds a BS in Health Science Education from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health from the University of South Florida. She will be on the front lines at CCF, coordinating our policy and research technical assistance to state-based child policy and advocacy organizations. Best of all, Candace shares our passion for health policy and advocating on behalf of children and families. So be on the lookout for blogs and other communications from Candace as she settles into her new role.

Tricia Brooks is a Research Professor at the Center for Children and Families (CCF), part of the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
