Three Out of Four of the People Put at Risk Under West Virginia’s Medicaid Changes are Children

Children will be put at risk of losing basic and essential health services under a new West Virginia Medicaid initiative, according to an analysis released today by the Center for Children and Families at Georgetown University’s Health Policy Institute. West Virginia is one of the first states in the country to make significant changes to its Medicaid program under the recently enacted federal Deficit Reduction Act.
