Georgia ranks almost near the bottom when it comes the number of uninsured children.

A study by Georgetown University’s Center for Children and Families ranks Georgia 48th in the country when it comes to children being covered by health insurance.

The study says the state’s number of uninsured children is going down but not as quickly as other states.

The number of uninsured children is at an historic low nationwide.
