As enrollment for Affordable Care Act restart, it is important to note that more than five million children in the United States do not have any form of health insurance.
In North Carolina, the enrollment problem is more pertinent to Hispanic children; the state ranks among the top ten states with the highest number of insured children. According the a report from Georgetown University’s Center for Children and Families and from the National Council of La Raza, 12.5% of Hispanic Children are uninsured.
