Number of uninsured Pa. kids declined slightly last year, study finds

HARRISBURG — More than 139,000 Pennsylvania children did not have health insurance last year, according to a study released Wednesday.

The number of uninsured children in the commonwealth declined slightly from 147,303 in 2013, noted the study, jointly released by Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children and Georgetown University’s Center for Children and Families.
