Oklahoma had the 45th highest rate of children who were uninsured in 2014, a report released on Wednesday shows.
The report analyzed how different provisions in the Affordable Care Act have potentially affected the rate of uninsured children.

The report notes that states that extended Medicaid coverage to adults and parents in 2014 saw a larger decline in the number and percent of uninsured children than those states that did not. Oklahoma leaders have chosen not to expand the state’s Medicaid program.
