Kaiser Family Foundation’s health tracking poll found that public support for repealing the Affordable Care Act hit a record low (33%) following the election.
The November tracking poll is well worth a read. Here are few other tidbits that I found interesting:
- Forty-three percent of respondents said they have a favorable view of the law, while 39 percent said they have an unfavorable view — almost the exact opposite of October’s results but still within the narrow band that the ACA approval rating has stayed within since enactment.
- The Affordable Care Act was not a top deciding factor for voters. Seven of 10 voters listed the law as a significant influence on their vote, but only 5 percent said it was the biggest factor.
- Forty-seven precent think President Obama’s second term will be good for Medicaid while 25% think it will be bad and 12% said they didn’t think it would make a difference.
